At the end of August, Patrick and I visited Venice. We had visited many places in Italy, but Venice was still on our bucket list. It worked out great because our good friends were getting married in Salzburg at the end of August, and the train ride from Venice to Salzburg is beautiful. We also […]
Patrick and I met Pier when he led our tasting at Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery a few months before we moved to Munich. He moved back to Italy and started his wine community Oneonthehill in Alba. We kept in contact and we were finally able to visit this gorgeous region of Italy. Pier put together an amazing itinerary for us and we had the best time!
After a few days in Dubrovnik, we took a ferry to Split for the next part of our Croatian vacation. The boat ride took two hours and we both caught up on some work during that time. It was SO hot in Split while we were there! The rest of Central Europe was also having […]
Dubrovnik was the first stop on our trip to Croatia. Dubrovnik has surged in popularity in recent years because of the show Game of Thrones, which is partly filmed in Dubrovnik. Unfortunately, Patrick and I do not watch Game of thrones but we still appreciated the beauty of Dubrovnik! It’s on the Adriatic Coast and everywhere you look is beautiful!
Rome is one of my favorite cities in the world, so when we saw cheap flights from Munich to Rome we booked them! Patrick had never been to Florence, so we added a day in Florence on this trip. We went to Rome last summer too, but I can never get enough of Rome!
Santorini in Greece is quite possibly one of the most beautiful places we have been. Gorgeous scenery, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious seafood made for one of my favorite vacations. Here’s all of our favorite places to eat and things to do in Santorini, Greece.
In February, we went to Paris for a weekend of revisiting one of our favorite cities. Paris was the first place we visited outside of Munich when we moved to Europe (You can read about our first visit here), so it was so nice to go back and revisit our favorite places as well as […]
We stayed in Europe this Christmas for a little trip through Switzerland and Austria. We started in Munich and took a train to Switzerland. After a few days in Switzerland, we spent Christmas Eve at the original chapel outside of Salzburg where Silent Night was sang for the first time.
Packed up our suitcases and moved from Nashville to Germany for two years. There’s a lot to see out there and we don’t want to miss it!
